If you’ve been betting my college football futures all season, here are the results you should be cheering for this weekend. Games are listed in order of importance.
Oregon @ Ohio State -7.5 (Saturday, 2:30 PM Central)
We make 17 units if Ohio State misses the Playoff, and also have some Oregon tickets. I think it’s a coin flip whether the Buckeyes can survive a third loss and still make the field.
Texas -2.5 @ Missouri (Saturday, 11 AM Central)
We make 16 units if Texas misses the Playoff. This is the game their whole season swings on- a win here, and they’ll be around -300 to make the playoff, a loss and they’ll be around +300.
UCLA -6.5 @ Minnesota (Saturday, 11 AM Central)
Our UCLA to make the Playoff ticket at 15/1 is our best of the season so far. It’s -220 now, but this is a tricky road trip. A win here probably moves it to -330 or so.
BYU @ Utah -5.5 (Saturday, 11 AM Central)
We have a variety of different Utah tickets, including them to win the Big 12 at +480. They come close to clinching a spot in the conference title game with a win here.
Marshall @ Georgia Southern -10 (Saturday, 2:30 PM Central)
Our Georgia Southern to win the Sun Belt East ticket moved from +2200 to +165 in a week. A win here keeps them on schedule.
Miami @ Notre Dame -5 (Saturday, 6:30 PM Central)
We’ll make 31 units if Miami misses the playoff- a loss here (preferably a blowout) is how that would start.
Alabama @ LSU -5.5 (Saturday, 2:30 PM Central)
We make 11 units if Alabama misses the Playoff. They’re nearly a lock to make it if they win here, but will be around a coin flip if they lose.
Texas A&M @ South Carolina -7.5 (Saturday, 2 PM Central)
We make 39 units if South Carolina makes the Playoff. We need them to win here.
UTSA -7 @ Florida Atlantic (Thursday, 6:30 PM Central)
We need a 2-2 finish from FAU to cash our +175 preseason win total ticket. An upset here is also great for our North Texas position.
New Mexico -10 @ Nevada (Friday, 8 PM Central)
An upset here helps our Nevada longs and makes our New Mexico to miss the playoff bet a lock.
Louisiana Tech -5 @ Troy (Saturday, 3 PM Central)
We win 23 units if Louisiana Tech wins the Sun Belt. They’re -650 to win the Sun Belt West. They functionally clinch the division with a win here.
Kentucky @ Tennessee -6.5 (Saturday, 5:15 PM Central)
We’re long both teams but a little bit longer Kentucky and would prefer they win here.
Tulsa -1.5 @ Tulane (Saturday, 11 AM Central)
We need a 3-1 finish from Tulsa to cash our +220 preseason win total ticket. This is the crucial swing game for that.
Oklahoma State @ Kansas State (Saturday, Noon Central)
We win 4.9 units from our over 8.5 wins ticket if Oklahoma State can win out.
Iowa State @ Baylor -9.5 (Saturday, 11 AM Central)
We’re long Iowa State and short Baylor from the preseason and would love an upset here.
Western Kentucky @ Middle Tennessee (Saturday, 2:30 PM Central)
Our Western Kentucky unders take another step to cashing if they lose the 100 Miles of Hate rivalry.
South Florida @ East Carolina -1.5 (Friday, 6:30 PM Central)
We need South Florida to finish 4-0 to cash our +260 preseason win total ticket. They have 3 coin flip games left, this is the first.
West Virginia @ Texas Tech -17.5 (Saturday, 8:30 PM Central)
It’s not likely, but a Mountaineers upset here would be awesome for our Texas Tech under.
